Troy + Jessica’s Romantic Boho Wedding

May 21, 2022

It was an honor to be a part of Troy + Jessica’s spring wedding weekend here at Mystic Ponds Estate.

Troy and Jessica’s romantic boho outdoor wedding was absolutely beautiful and the seclusion, calm giggles and looks of admiration made it a day to remember.

Jessica and her bridesmaids had a great time getting ready in the mini cabin suite overlooking the serene water. Her lacy wedding dress was low back lace with a mid-length train and no detail was overlooked. From the pins in her loose braid to the muted spring colors in her bouquet. The bridesmaids wore mismatched pastel dresses and were in awe at how stunning she looked when she walked out.

Troy quietly waited in the shaded pine trees for their first look in a dapper grey suit with a crisp white shirt and coordinating striped tie. The moment was one of both nervous excitement and anticipation for what was to come.

The ceremony was held waterfront with an aisle made of charming boho rugs and lined with oversized pastel glass vases filled with creamy flowers and pampass grass. The arbor was asymmetrically decorated with paper fans and more flowers and pampass grass.

Their nuptials were celebrated immediately following the ceremony in the outdoor pavilion with a bloody mary bar that was a big hit with the guests. The food trucks parked nearby were also a big draw and offered a variety of options: hot and fresh paninis and pasta dishes. Cupcakes and cookies were featured for dessert with a sign #NissenToYourHeart above them. The table decor was perfect for the occasion with hand dyed multi color pastel table runners and each table with a different sign showing the location of their adventures. Floral hoops were hung above the head table with fairy lights and drapery behind the new Mr. and Mrs. Nissen sporting their Chicago Bears jerseys.

After dinner Jessica and Troy snuck away into the loft for some well-deserved alone time. As the sun began to set, they took a stroll down the path by the water. Their photographer was there to capture the last few moments of light as they walked and talked, hand in hand. The evening ended with love, laughter, and a pose by the bistro lights and marquee letters “T&J”. It was a perfect day that they will always remember.

Congratulations Troy + Jessica!
